How to play the Last Man Standing competition
The concept of the Last Man Standing footy competition will be familiar to many sports fans. The competition, once run by Sportingbet, is being governed by Palmerbet in 2015. All you need to do is correctly select the winner of ONE match during each round of the AFL season. There is no requirement to select any points margins, or correctly select the line. You will need to get your entries for each round in before the start of the first match. It is possible to edit your tip right up until the start of the first match in each round.
The Competition changes after Round 13
If you are still in the competition after round 12, the game changes. Instead of just selecting the one head to head tip each week, you will now need to select a team to win at the line. Line betting effectively means that the stronger team is handicapped by the bookmaker with a points margin. The bookie selects a points margin that makes the game even. So, after 12, the competition gets far more difficult, because most tips will be an even money contest. Players that fail to enter any tip at all for the selected round will be eliminated.
One entry per member
It is only possible to enter the competition once. However unlike some competitions, it is possible for two people living at the same address to provide two separate entries, so long as both players register an account with Palmerbet.

Last Man Standing prizes for 2015
There are no weekly prizes in the AFL Last Man Standing competition. It is very much an all-or-nothing footy tipping competition where the winner takes all. The overall prize winner will collect $10,000. If two players bow out in the same round and they are the last remaining players, the prize will be split equally between both parties.
